Air Montenegro Reports Positive Business Performance in 2024

Podgorica - The national airline, Air Montenegro, closed the previous year with a positive financial result, recording a profit of 540,000 euros.

The company’s total revenue in 2024 amounted to 62.82 million euros, representing a 0.8 percent increase compared to the previous year. In 2024, Air Montenegro operated flights to 19 regular destinations - one more than in 2023 - and carried out a total of 5,796 flights, marking an 8.3 percent increase.

The number of passengers transported also increased. During 2024, the Montenegrin national airline transported 498,833 passengers on regular and charter flights, which is a 5 percent growth. The average passenger cabin load factor reached 69.2 percent, up by 1.2 percent compared to 2023.

The positive business trends continued in the first quarter of this year. Between January and March, Air Montenegro operated a total of 940 flights, a 27 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024. The airline carried 75,306 passengers in the first quarter, showing an impressive 44 percent rise compared to the first three months of the previous year. The average cabin load factor also saw a significant increase, reaching 70.65 percent - 17 percent higher than in the same period in 2024.
