The new Board of Directors of Air Montenegro has commenced its activities
Today, the inaugural session of the new Board of Directors of Air Montenegro was held. The first part of the session was attended by the Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro, Filip Radulović, as well as members of the Board of Directors and the management of the airline.
The Minister expressed satisfaction with the composition of the new Board of Directors, both in terms of personnel and professionalism, believing that the members will make a significant contribution to the further development of the company and branding Montenegro as a destination with great potential.
"The expectations of the Government of Montenegro, and personally mine, are that you put your professional capacities at the service of Air Montenegro, citizens, tourists, and the entire economy. I believe in your competencies and expect numerous proposals and solutions for the challenges ahead", emphasized Minister Radulović.
In the second part of the session, by unanimous decision of the Board of Directors, Tihomir Dragaš was elected as the president. The other members of the Board are Vukadin Stojanović, Mitar Šušić, Aleksandra Gardašević Slavuljica, and Danilo Popović.
Through the presentation of the company's portfolio, numerous operational and organizational issues were discussed in the first session, along with projections related to the fleet, commercial plans, financial parameters. The working dynamics of the Board of Directors were established, with a unanimous commitment to intensify efforts, all with the aim of creating future solutions that will contribute to better positioning the company in the demanding aviation market.
It was concluded that Air Montenegro plays a significant role in stimulating tourism development, as well as the overall economic dynamics of the country. Accordingly, the new Board of Directors will act in this regard, involving intensive collaboration with the relevant ministry, the company's management and employees, as well as numerous international partners.
