Meeting with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Montenegro
Two cities in the Czech Republic, new destinations of Air Montenegro
Podgorica - The map of destinations reached by Air Montenegro is expanding, from this season two more European addresses are available. From June 18, every Saturday and Tuesday, planes of the national airline will fly from Tivat to Prague, while charter flights to Pardubice will also be organized during the summer.
On the eve of the first flight from Tivat to Prague, company representatives met today with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Montenegro, HE Janina Hrebičkova and Deputy Ambassador Petra Ali Dolákova. The ambassador pointed out that Montenegro, with all its natural beauty, has great potential as a destination for tourists from the Czech Republic who love the sea and beaches, but also mountains and active vacations. She emphasized that additional promotion of Montenegro in the Czech Republic is important and that she hopes that good cooperation between the two countries will continue and that direct flights to Prague and from Podgorica will be established.
Acting CEO of Air Montenegro, Dragana Frantov Nikolić, said on this occasion: "One of our visions is to connect Montenegro with as many cities as possible across Europe. That is why we are constantly expanding our network, and now, a year after the first flight, we have over 10 destinations to which we fly. We are especially pleased by the great interest of tourists from the Czech Republic as an important market for Montenegro, which is why, in addition to the regular seasonal line to Prague, charter flights are also planned. Air Montenegro's goal is to further develop the connection between the two countries in the form of a longer period of traffic and greater number of flights. Aware of how important the national airline is for tourism and the economy as a whole; we strive to contribute to a better season".
A year from the first flight, before the main tourist season, the national airline operates on over 10 routes (Belgrade, Banja Luka, Zurich, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Copenhagen, Lyon, Ljubljana, Nantes, Paris, Prague, Katowice, Tel Aviv, Yerevan). The company states that it is not a final number because there is already interest in charter flights from various destinations.
